Important note: 1099-DIV forms are not issued for accounts which have received less than $10 in total distributions (dividends and capital gain distributions) either in cash or reinvested in the account. However, if federal income tax is withheld from distributions on the account, a 1099-DIV is issued regardless of the total distribution amount.
If you do not receive a 1099-DIV form showing the total distributions (dividends and/or capital gains) for your account, you can utilize the information on your year-end statement when completing your tax return.
You can download select 1099 tax information for your Pioneer accounts directly into TurboTax® return via our website. The 1099 tax information is based on the most current tax data available and could change due to tax amendments or transaction revisions. If you have specific questions regarding the preparation of your tax return, contact your tax advisor or the IRS.
