Pioneer offers shareowners a variety of convenient and useful account programs and services. Just click below to view a summary of each and to learn how you can modify or add services for your account.

Use the information presented here as a general guide. Your circumstances may vary; talk to your investment professional, or call one of our Customer Service Representatives at 1-800-225-6292. Please refer to the fund's prospectus for more complete information.

Check Writing

Check writing is available for Class A shares of non-retirement accounts in Pioneer Cash Reserves Fund. You may write checks for amounts between $500 and $250,000 as long as the amount does not exceed the available value of your account. See the fund's prospectus for other conditions that may apply.

To establish check writing on an account, complete a Check Writing Signature card, and mail it to Pioneer Investment Management Shareholder Services, Inc., P. O. Box 55014, Boston, MA 02205-5014. To obtain a card, contact your investment professional, or call us at 1-800-225-6292.

After we receive the signed signature card, we will send you an initial supply of checks. Please allow approximately two weeks for delivery of your personalized checks.

Direct Deposit

Pioneer Direct Deposit is a free service that gives you a faster, easier way to move your money. Pioneer Direct Deposit is available for Systematic Withdrawal Plans and telephone redemptions, as well as dividend payments and capital gains payments.

You should allow approximately 30 days for service to begin. You may change or cancel this service at any time using the methods listed below.

Your request must include a Signature Validation Program Stamp to establish Direct Deposit on an existing account or to change existing bank information.

Dividend and Capital Gain Distributions

Pioneer offers shareowners four options for dividend and capital gain distributions.

  • Reinvest dividend and capital gain distributions
  • Receive cash dividends, reinvest capital gain distributions
  • Receive cash dividend and capital gain distributions
  • Invest dividends into another Pioneer account of the same share class, and/or capital gain distributions (Directed Dividends)

Cash payments will be mailed to the name and address on your account. If you prefer, you may have the payments sent to a bank account via direct deposit or paid to a third party. Call us at 1-800-225-6292 for instructions.

When selecting your option, you should remember that:

  • If your account does not have a certified tax identification number, Backup Withholding may be withheld from the distributions.
  • Dividend and capital gain distributions for all retirement accounts must be reinvested.
  • Dividend and capital gain distributions for accounts with a net asset value under $500 must be reinvested.
  • Retirement accounts may not receive dividends from another account.

You can change your options at any time using any of the following methods. Note: If a Signature Validation Program Stamp is required, you must mail us your instructions.

Net Asset Value (NAV) Purchases

90 Day Reinvestment Privilege (for Class A or Class B* Shares)

Pioneer offers you the opportunity to reinvest all or a portion of the money you redeem from your Pioneer account — without paying a sales charge — within 90 days of your redemption. If you sold shares from a retirement account, you have 60 days to reinvest or roll over the proceeds without being subject to taxes and penalties. You have the choice of investing in any Pioneer fund, as long as you meet its minimum investment requirement.

To exercise this option, mail your check to Pioneer Investment Management Shareholder Services, Inc., P.O. Box 55014, Boston, MA 02205-5014. Your instructions to invest must tell us that you are utilizing the Reinvestment Privilege.

* With the exception of Cash Reserves (unless the redeemed shares were privileged), Class B Shares may be reinvested in all or part of the sale proceeds, within 90 days of the redemption, at Net Asset Value in Class A shares of any Pioneer mutual fund.

Reduced Sales Charges

These programs offer a way for you to lower your sales charges on the purchase of Class A Shares. For more information about reduced sales charges, contact your investment professional, or call us at 1-800-225-6292.

Rights of Accumulation (ROA)

The current value of shares in your existing Pioneer accounts may qualify you for a reduced sales charge on new investments. For example, assume you originally invested $20,000 in a Pioneer stock fund and, over the years, your account has grown in value to $34,000. If you invested another $20,000, you would be eligible for a reduced sales charge on your purchase because of the sales charge reduction offered on purchases of $50,000 or more for stock funds.

If you have more than one Pioneer account, be sure to tell your investment professional so we can "link" them together for ROA purposes.

Letter of Intent (LOI)

A letter of intent tells us that you plan to invest a set amount of money at Pioneer during a specified 13-month period. Signing an LOI allows you to immediately begin purchasing shares at the reduced sales charge appropriate for the specified LOI amount.

A LOI does not obligate you to purchase additional shares. If you do not meet your intended investment amount within the 13-month period, the regular sales charge will be applied to all purchases made under the letter.

To establish a LOI, send a completed Letter of Intent form or Account Options form to Pioneer Investment Management Shareholder Services, Inc., P.O. Box 55014, Boston, MA 02205-5014. The form must be signed by both you and your investment professional. Be sure to include your 14-digit Pioneer account number, the last 4 digits of your social security number and phone number.

Telephone Exchange

Your Pioneer account is automatically authorized to allow telephone exchanges unless you indicate otherwise on the Account Application or by writing to Pioneer. You can exchange a maximum of $500,000 per account per day by telephone, following the requirements stated in the fund's prospectus. Read a summary of those requirements.
