Pioneer's Equity Investment Process

Investment management styles and objectives are clearly defined for each offering and form the basis for prospective investors' product choices. Of course, with respect to different products, Pioneer relies more heavily on certain elements of its investment process.
The flow chart shown below represents the relationships and interdependence of the disciplines for fundamental research and quantitative research, risk control, buying, and selling that are the underpinnings of Pioneer's approach.
From both the fundamental research and quantitative research groups, information flows to the portfolio managers, who are responsible for active portfolio management.
